Please be aware parents and families are not allowed on school premises before 6pm on weekdays due to the child protection policy of the venue (the school) we use. They will work on more challenging moves and transitions. Intermediate Aerial students are those who have done at least 2 years aerial and are confident and capable in the air. ![]() Please contact us for your child’s suitability. They focus on one skill, with an expectation of conditioning and stretching at home and focused attention within class. The Wednesday class, 5.45-6.45pm, is for intermediate aerial students. They may learn harder moves, including drops, as well as how to put all the small sequences together to create their own routines. As skills develop, in the later classes, students will learn to create and link moves together. Staying with one skill allows development of stronger skills and a deeper understanding of the apparatus. The 9.30am class rotates around the skills for the whole term.ĭoes each student have their own equipment?Įach young person will have their own apparatus for the duration of the class and will stay with the one skill for the term. Regular class (not sat 9.30am) students choose which skill they will focus on between trapeze, hoop, rope or silks. This will be determined by skill availability. After the class please let us know if they are wishing to continue for the term. If we have a space in a specific skill or class we will list any available single classes the day before the class only, as our priority is to fill the space for the whole term. In term if you wish to book a single trial class, we will only offer these after all termly spaces have been taken. Trial class for September to December term on 15 July, 2023. Silks is more difficult than it looks and we don’t like to start students with silks. We will try and find you a class and/or you will then go onto a waitlist.įor youth wanting to join a silks class, we suggest doing hoop or trapeze first, as we offer the current students with aerial experience the chance to join silks before new students. ![]() There are spaces in this and regular classes, which are shown above.Ĭlick on the ‘waitlist’ button above to let us know if your child would like to join us, when their preferred class is not available. We usually suggest the Saturday 9.30-10.30am for beginner students, 8-17 years. They may decide they are not showing anything this term and we will support them in their choice. We give the young people the choice, if they wish to show something to a bigger audience of all the families or not. The date will be in your childs’ last class of the term. In previous terms, at the end of term, we had a non compulsory ‘showing of work’ to allow families to watch an open class of their child. We will send an email regarding the precise time.
